Puglia is a food and drink lovers' paradise

Villa Aurora is in close proximity to many beautiful historical towns, where you can experience the very best Puglian food and wine, all locally produced and inexpensive. There are an abundance of restaurants close to the villa.

If you'd like to pick up some beautiful fresh ingredients to cook with, there are markets in Ostuni town centre every Wednesday, Friday & Saturday. Weekly markets also take place in Cisternino, Ceglie Messapica, Martina Franca, Torre Canne and Locorotondo.

We can also highly recommend two cookery courses - one which comes to Villa Aurora and another in a nearby cookery school - so you can learn to make everything from traditional Apuglian orecchiette to the perfect Italian pasta sauce.

On request and for an additional charge, Chef Giulia can be provided to cook delicious evening meals in the villa itself.

We also offer a wine and artisan beer tasting experience at the Villa with local producers on request.

We had Giulia cook for us several times. She was delightful and the food delicious and very reasonably priced - lovely and restful especially as she sets the table, clears away and leaves everything immaculate.
